Robbers made a daring bid to rob Muthoot Finance at Mailardevpally but had to return empty handed as an employee rung the burglary alarm which had the crowds flocking, due to which they lost their nerves and fled from the spot. The gang consisting of around 8 members gained entry into the bank in the night and tried to loot it after threatening the cashier, but a alert employee foiled their bid.
The police rushed to the spot after getting information about the
robbery attempt. The Telangana special squad OCTOPUS accompanied the police
team. The Squad traced the robbers to Happy Homes in Attapur and raided it.
According to sources two of the gang has been nabbed but there is no official
confirmation yet.
